Rozwell - Only Wanna Be With You
This one is a Sunday Slowdown classic. I remember when I was about 10 or 11, I’d turn on the radio at about 9pm (I was done with my homework already!) every Sunday and hope to hear this song. When I was able to convince my dad to invest in this thing called internet and pay 100 pesos for every 5 hours, I was finally able to download this song (14.4 kbps internet for the win!)
No one really knows a lot about this group or about this song. Hell, even the DJ’s didn’t know who they were. I’ve done countless searches and not even a clue. Are they Filipino? Do they have an album? Do they know how popular they are(were)? Are they really called Rozwell or some creative guy decided to name them that because their existence is as mysterious as the aliens who landed in Rozwell (baduy)
In any case, I believe in aliens so it must follow that I believe in them. Major “senti” hit. Perfect for the weather.
